A week off :)

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. Things got really busy.

For the past two weeks, I've been working with groups in a community called Mariani. We've been helping to construct a church/ school, with the school on the first floor and church on the second. We've passed thousands of buckets of concrete, a few hundred cinder blocks, and enough mortar to seal two large water reservoirs to supply water to the whole building.

I have been blessed to get to know people from all across the country who are willing to take their time and come to a country that is rich in faith, but lacking in resources. I cannot tell you what a blessing it is to see our teams working in this place and interacting with the people of Mariani.

This week, I have a week off to rest and get prepared for the last three weeks of my time here. I'm staying at Haiti Christian Orphanage with my friends Marlo, Bethany and Eric. I hope and pray you are doing well! Thank you so much for your continued support and prayers. God is still very active in this beautiful country.
